This year, we are proud to honor Mary Slattery and Alexandra Adame in recognition of their extraordinary commitment to advancing lifesaving cancer research. The Luncheon will also feature a special fashion presentation by Safiyya, continuing the event’s celebrated tradition of showcasing world-class design.
Funds raised will support groundbreaking cancer research funded through the Samuel Waxman Institute for Aging & Cancer, an affiliate of The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research. The first-of-its-kind initiative will drive science aimed at improving healthier aging with less cancer for all.
The Waxman Luncheon was first held in 2014 at a New York City brownstone with 45 guests and has grown to more than 200 attendees. Over the years, world-class designers such as Nicole Miller, Oscar de la Renta, Dennis Basso, St. John, Carolina Herrera, Derek Lam, Kobi Halperin, Ungaro, Max Mara, Josie Natori, and Akris have presented their collections, supporting vital cancer research.
